One Form, Many Expressions: BigLove Clover for Every Mood | Willowlamp

A single design can take on a completely different character through scale, proportion and finish. Willowlamp’s BigLove Clover chandelier is a clear example. Inspired by the four-leaf clover and translated into a soft, heart-shaped chandelier form, the design balances sculptural presence with movement, light and a sense of romance.

The 700mm diameter suspended chandelier in Brass + Chrome Ombré brings warmth and brightness together in one piece. Brass introduces a richer, golden tone while silver chrome cools and lifts the finish, creating a gradual ombré effect that reads almost like champagne in the light. Rather than applying colour as a flat surface treatment, the effect comes from the reflective qualities of the metal chain itself, allowing the chandelier to change subtly as the light and viewing angle shift.

In the 700mm diameter ceiling-mounted chandelier in Smoke, the same underlying design takes on a noticeably darker and more architectural character. The Smoke finish deepens the shadows between the strands of chain and gives the form a quieter, moodier presence. The result feels dramatic without becoming theatrical, with a softness in shape that still carries visual weight.

Scale changes the design again

The larger 1200mm diameter ceiling-mounted BigLove Clover chandelier in Brass + Chrome Ombré expands the familiar form into a broader, more commanding statement. The increased scale changes the proportions and the way the cascading chain is experienced within the space, while the mixed metallic finish keeps the piece luminous rather than heavy.

That flexibility is central to Willowlamp’s approach. BigLove Clover is available in different finishes, while custom sizing and configurations allow the design to respond to the requirements of a particular interior. The result is not simply the same chandelier in another colour. Scale, mounting, finish and proportion can each change the way the piece feels within a room.

Designed by Adam Hoets and made in Cape Town, BigLove Clover shows how one recognisable form can move from warm and luminous to deep and atmospheric while remaining unmistakably Willowlamp.
