Plascon House Tour: A Sunshine Interior

This vibrant family home in Barcelona comes alive in warm yellow tones carried throughout the interior of this residence. Paired with hints of aqua and blue, and we see a modern yet warm colour palette that creates the ideal flow from one space into the next.

Gorgeous raw brick ceilings are a designer architectural feature in this Barcelona home. Infused with colour and warmth, this home is beautifully decorated with a contemporary edge that is great for a modern lifestyle. The living room is well put together with a comfortable sofa as a feature, with an array of scatters in various patterns and textures, to finish off the look. Modern art and contemporary lighting add to the designer yet lived-in ambience of this home. Texture and colour are infused through the use of a raw brick wall that picks up on the warmer colour palette of this abode. Simple pastel blue chairs pop against the warmer neutral tones in this space. A fun patterned kitchen floor adds another dimension and speaks to the cultural history and vibrancy of this home. Yellow is extended into the bedroom with a feature wall behind the bed. The room feels cosy and homely with a beautiful feature print in complementary tones proudly displayed above the bed. Plain white built-in cupboards add much needed storage space in this room while large bare windows welcome the natural light indoors. Again the characteristic elements of the exposed brick ceiling hint at the older architectural style of the building and adds dimension and character to this comfortable bedroom space, even though it is on the smaller side.
