House Tour: Shadow Play
The blend of light and dark in this modern home is breathtaking. What we love the most are the ornate details of the home’s original features; intricate cornices and pretty detailing of the fireplaces, illuminated by bright white and softened by dark accents.
This well-balances home is the seriously stylish, without being too flamboyant. Coved ceilings above the window nooks provide a depth to the space and frame rather Scandinavian-inspired decor.
Pretty lights in the kitchen and and entrance hall feminize this space and are very much on trend in the industry. Rather than choosing dark grey or charcoal to create this contrasting the owner chose dark teal and it works beautifully.
