True Design: The Moroso Gallery of Wonders
With spectacular window displays at its historic showroom in Via Pontaccio, an installation “The Moroso Gallery of Wonders” and a collaboration with Diesel Living, Milan Design Week 2024 was a busy one for Moroso.
At its flagship store, the brand unveiled a window display by Patricia Urquiola entirely dedicated to Ron Arad’s new One Page armchair. A reinterpretation of the classic One Page lounge chair, the chair consists of a rigid moulded polyurethane shell with a flexible polyurethane soft internal padding. At Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Moroso’s exhibition in partnership with Ron Arad showcased yesterday’s and tomorrow’s icons in partnership with Ron Arad.
“The Moroso Gallery of Wonders stages a tribute to the company’s historic association with Ron Arad. In the Rossana Orlandi Gallery, an international landmark of collectable design, the One Page armchair by the London-based artist and designer is presented in five special versions, alongside a selection of iconic pieces revisited for the occasion. The one-off pieces include Big Easy Made in Africa, the Modou collection, the M’Afrique Collection and Soft Marble, a soft reinterpretation of a project designed by Arad and formerly made of marble,” says Moroso.

Moroso also collaborated with Diesel Living for its Red Takeover and Silver Dome exhibit. The showcases included the reveal of two new designs: the D-uffle sofa and the Puff-D armchair, both inspired by a relaxed and unconventional aesthetic, mirroring Diesel’s approach to fashion.
