Maldini: Qeeboo founder Stefano Giovannoni, the Nami Sofa
Known for their bright, bold and imaginative furniture and homeware designs, Qeeboo’s one-of-a-kind designs add a playful, contemporary touch to traditional room scapes.
Introducing a relaxed aesthetic to the living room, their new Nami Sofa is no different.
Characterised by a linear shape in the centre that becomes circular at the two ends, the Nami Sofa offers seating for two to three people and is available in six colours. Three of these are uniform colours (Terracotta, Indian Red and Dove Grey), the other three are obtained from recycling and mixing materials with two to three different colour tones for a distinct finish.
Designed by Qeeboo founder Stefano Giovannoni, the Nami Sofa is a true reflection of the designer’s unique ability to foretell people’s tastes, offering a contemporary take on the traditional sofa that is in line with the latest trends in design and manufacturing.
“Qeeboo is a brand that empowers self-expression with creativity,” says Giovannoni.
“Its narrative objects are a result of a design culture that combines thought, vision and emotion to bring individuals into worlds in which they feel free to reconnect with their most creative side. Simultaneously, the ideas and products created want to relate to people’s stories, populating their lives while giving new meanings to their everyday spaces. With a twist of pop, wonder and culture, Qeeboo’s creations are consciously thought to enhance the style of each individual, bringing originality to the environment, arising a sense of surprise, still maintaining rigorous attention to details and final high quality.”
Other exciting designs by Giovannoni for Qeeboo include the Bigger Brother Lamp, Teddy Girl Lamp and Pako side table.
Qeeboo is locally available through Maldini.
Purveyors of luxury Italian furniture, Maldini stocks some of the finest, most exclusive names in the industry, from contemporary designs by Porada, Catellan Italia and Arketip to playful pieces by Qeeboo to the home, corporate and hospitality sectors.
