Durability
“The durability of Zelliges, stone and cement tiles has been proven over the last centuries. At Opia Design, we aim to offer timeless products that will be there for many generations. Less waste as our products are versatile and adapt to any style.”
Knowledge
“When it comes to zellige, cement and stone, there’s little we don’t know. We draw on our in-depth knowledge for our customers. We accompany every project, small or big, from order to installation and share our knowledge to help protect the authenticity and savoir-faire around our products.”
Quality
“Our tiles are all durable and resistant to many forms of wear, such as heat, water and even heavy foot traffic.”
Design
“Our products must be durable and hold timeless beauty and character. Each tile is hand-crafted in Morocco in a process that’s been around for thousands of years. They bring uniqueness and elegance to any space.”
Sustainability
“Natural stone such as limestone and marble are durable and long-lasting, which reduces the need for replacement and disposal. These materials can be harvested and processed with minimal impact to the environment, and once installed, require no additional resources to maintain. Furthermore, natural stone tiles do not use off-gas chemicals and do not contribute to indoor air pollution, which can be important for indoor spaces, and can be recycled or repurposed at the end of their life.”
Timeless
“Natural stone materials such as limestone and marble have been used for centuries in architectural and design projects because of their durability, beauty, and timeless appeal. These materials are formed over millions of years through natural processes and are unique in their patterns, colours, and textures. They are also a sustainable choice as they can be quarried and used without depleting finite resources. Additionally, natural stone can be polished to a high shine or honed to a matte finish, giving designers and architects flexibility in the final look of a project. Overall, the timelessness and durability of natural stone materials make them a popular choice for high-end, handmade tiles and other building materials.”
