Cosy Interiors: Warming Up Spaces with Texture and Style
As the cooler months begin to roll in, there’s nothing quite like coming home—or stepping into an office—that feels warm, inviting, and textured. Cosy interiors are all about creating environments that soothe the senses while adding visual interest, and one of the most effective ways to do this is through the use of rich, tactile finishes.
Douglas Jones is embracing the season with two exciting mosaic ranges designed to elevate both residential and commercial spaces.
Sticky Fingers is brand new to the collection and ideal for those looking to add natural warmth and rustic charm. These beautifully textured mosaics come in six natural stone types and a variety of finger-sized shapes that add movement and depth to any space.
Perfect for wet areas like bathrooms or spas, Sticky Fingers can also be used in low-traffic floor areas—ideal for adding a tactile element to cosy lounges or peaceful office nooks.

For a touch of heritage with a modern twist, the Terrazzo Punkah range offers a sophisticated nod to ancient design. Drawing inspiration from the early 6th century BC punkah fan profile, this mosaic line comes in four stone types and delivers that timeless terrazzo look reimagined for contemporary interiors.
Like Sticky Fingers, these mosaics are suitable for low foot traffic areas and wet spaces, making them versatile as well as visually striking.

Whether you’re revamping your living room, upgrading a guest bathroom, or redesigning a client-facing office, textured mosaics are a clever way to bring in comfort, character, and warmth.
