Brabetz Carpet Mill
Founded in 1992, Brabetz Carpet Mill is a family-operated business at the forefront of the carpet industry both locally and abroad.
The company offers ready-made and custom rugs, as well as wall-to-wall carpeting, ideal for residential or commercial spaces.
With a promise that their “capabilities far exceed the most vivid of imaginations,” Brabetz can manufacture “any conceivable colour, design, size, shape and texture” rug.
Clients who want a bespoke rug can look forward to the following creative process:
First, a member of the Brabetz team will contact you to arrange an on-site or online consultation to discuss your design requirements.
Clients can either submit their own design or a concept mood board or select a bespoke design from the Brabetz collection.
If a client has submitted their own design, the in-house team will further develop the design and send a rendering to the client for approval.
Once the design has been settled on, clients will be able to select colours. “You can select your colours from a fabric book, Pantone, Plascon or Dulux colour charts. If you can’t find a colour, don’t worry, we can create any colour in our lab,” explains the team.
Then, it is on to production. “Depending on the type of rug, complexity and fibre, hand tufted rugs will take six to eight weeks to be completed while hand-knotted rugs take 14 to 18 weeks,” says Brabetz.
Once completed, the team will have your new rug delivered straight to your door.
