Not to be missed: Decorex Comes to Joburg – 24 to 27 July 2025
Decorex Africa, the crown jewel of the 2025 African design calendar, is back and visitors can expect four extraordinary days of design, innovation and inspiration from the continent.
The flagship Johannesburg event, at the Sandton Convention Centre from 24 to 27 July, returns with over 300 exhibitors across five dedicated halls in a celebration of the best in design and a unique exploration of how the way we live is changing.
Under the show theme & The Future of Living & visitors are invited to witness how designers from Africa are experimenting with cutting-edge technology and transforming smart living spaces into masterpieces that merge tradition and innovation. Decorex Africa Creative Directors Alan Hayward and Garreth van Niekerk respond to the theme with pavilions dedicated to how & design makes the future and engaging talks that ask big questions about where humanity is headed.
Running alongside Decorex Africa is 100% Design Africa, where the continent’s creative pulse beats strongest. Through its revolutionary phygital experience, physical exhibitions merge with digital storytelling, crafting moments that resonate beyond borders.
From groundbreaking furniture and products to technological wizardry, this powerhouse exhibition, established in 1994, is more than a display – it’s a space to see it first: a catalyst of creation that connects visionaries with new opportunities, launching legends and defining the future of living spaces.
Don’t just observe the future, help shape it at the epicentre of Africa’s most influential design journey, in a city that has always been at the forefront of innovation and commerce. Don’t miss this year’s Decorex Joburg.
