Meet the team at Form Interior
Meet the team at Form Interior and take a closer look at their most impressive projects to date.
Founded by the visionary creative director and designer, Erica Schalkwyk, in 2014, Form Interior is the realisation of a lifelong dream. Rooted in Erica’s profound love of homes and the families that reside within them, Form Interior brings forth an artful fusion of creativity and functionality to residential design.
Erica’s design philosophy is simple yet profound: she crafts spaces that not only exude laid-back sophistication but also serve as a gallery of your life, encapsulating your essence and the things you cherish. Nowhere is this more evident than in their impressive portfolio of residential projects – each carefully designed to reflect the personalities of those who inhabit the spaces. From clean, contemporary spaces to ones with a raw modernity, Erica and her team carefully consider and style every nook and cranny.
While the company originally offered full-service design, it has transitioned to a more personalised and boutique service approach. This change has been aimed at ensuring that clients experience the most sustainable and aesthetically pleasing interior design while benefiting from cost-effective and strategically sound project management.
At Form Interior, the focus remains on the client’s vision, saving them time and money while adding substantial value to their home. The services span across various aspects of interior décor design, from construction and carpentry to window and wall finishes, lighting, soft furnishings, art and accessories.
The design process begins with the creation of a comprehensive design presentation, which includes space plans, concept boards, sample boards and a project budget. Once approved, the team collaborates with contractors and suppliers to make each vision a reality.
