Discover the Luxury Yacht Designed by Stéphanie Coutas
Passionate about art and exceptional savoir-faire, French interior designer Stéphanie Coutas is widely recognised for her Stéphanie Coutas luxury yacht design approach, blending art de vivre with unparalleled craftsmanship to create luxurious modern spaces. Her work in luxury yacht design by Stéphanie Coutas reflects a seamless fusion of modern elegance and neo-classical inspiration, where every detail is carefully considered to express timeless sophistication and romantic poetry.
Raised in Asia and having begun her professional career in fashion for fifteen years, Stéphanie Coutas’ diverse cultural background strongly influences her distinctive design style. This rich foundation translates into remarkable homes and interiors across the globe. Her interior design agency, SC Edition, comprises a select team of architects, decorators and designers, delivering projects that range from private residences to hotels and luxury yachts, both in France and internationally.
What sets the agency apart is its ability to manage every phase of a project — from initial design concept to full renovation and decoration — resulting in beautifully curated, ‘ready-to-live’ spaces. Combining both technical precision and refined aesthetics, Coutas frequently collaborates with renowned artisans and craftspeople to create contemporary, individualised and exclusive interiors. A true connoisseur of clean lines and striking décor, she effortlessly pairs high-quality materials within the most elegant settings, from precious woods and sumptuous velvets to distinctive marble and Murano glass.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Stéphanie Coutas continuously experiments with textures and patterns, drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of French decorative arts. From a simple material sample, she conceptualises bespoke furniture and accessories for both residential projects and collaborations with esteemed brands such as Blanc Carrare for marble, Baccarat for lighting, THG for taps, and Tai Ping for rugs.
After years of designing and refining unique pieces, Coutas has, since 2020, showcased her exclusive furniture and lighting collections in her gallery located in the heart of Paris’ Golden Triangle.
Among her latest creations are two villas in Saint-Tropez, a villa in Saint-Barthélemy, a villa in Le Vésinet, and two apartments in Paris — including her own pied-à-terre on the Esplanade des Invalides. This 224 m² apartment has been entirely reimagined to reflect the designer’s passion for art. In the living room, a painting by Fabrice Hyber sits alongside sculptures by Coralie Bonnet and Simone Pheulpin, all delicately illuminated by rope sconces by Christian Astuguevieille.
Currently, Stéphanie Coutas is working on a dozen residential projects and is set to exhibit at PAD London in October 2022.
