Chicshak Interiors: Zandspruit Bush and Aero Estate
Today’s residence is a luxury home in the bush. A place of relaxation and a connection to nature. Here, where the beauty of Africa is right on your doorstep…
Chicshak Interiors took on the task of designing and project managing a beautiful bush home in the magical surrounds of Zandspruit Bush and Aero Estate.
Zandspruit Bush and Aero Estate is a vast 1 000ha Estate near Hoedspruit. Of the 1 000ha, 350ha has been demarcated for residential development of African bush homes. Amongst the development projects are a 5-star Safari Resort and an Equestrian Centre. The balance of the Estate, comprising of 650ha of land, is left as an untouched wilderness area. Here residents may enjoy game drives, horse rides, cycling, walking, jogging or a sunset picnic.
The Brief
Chicshak was tasked with project managing this home for a client living abroad. “I am residing outside of South Africa and needed someone with project management experience to oversee the construction of my new home in the bush. Louise and her team did a fabulous job of managing this huge project while I was overseas.”
Not only did Chicshak Interiors deal with suppliers and supervise the quality of the construction process, but they also did the entire interior design of the home. This was not just picking out curtains and paints, but rather the complete sourcing of every item needed in the house from kitchen items to lawnmowers.
“Louise has fabulous taste and is a person of high integrity. She continues to manage my property allowing me to focus on work overseas, and when I return, I am confident everything is in great shape. I fully recommend Louise and her team to anyone who requires complex home or design-related projects.”
