Plascon House Tour: A Glam-Filled Utah Home
Hints of gold in every room add to the glamorous appeal of this trendy Utah family home. Step inside and take a peak at the many contemporary finishes and interesting tones that complete this space.
Marble and gold line the master bathroom – hinting at the sheer luxury of this glam-filled home. Complete with double vanities, ample storage and the inclusion of greenery in this space, this bathroom is a restful and luxurious space.
From the stylish hallways to the living spaces and even the bathroom, each space is kept sleek with hints of gold for that added flair. Metallic accents are a great way to elevate a room, as can be seen by this bold framed mirror which adds fantastic detail to an otherwise white and simple space. An oversized lamp and vase add to the drama of this entrance way.
Large fold-away doors hint at the great outdoors, welcoming light and fresh air into the living spaces. Here darker grey walls create a cosy and inviting space. A mix of patterns and textures add depth here and we love the bold choice of light fitting in matte black and gold. Upholstered sofas are enhanced with beautiful whit furry throws and a mix of scatters in complementary tones.
A built-in fireplace is the perfect addition to this space. Built in bookcases on either end ensure that the fireplace becomes a magnificent focal point in the room. The mantel features bold monochromatic prints and glassware. We also love the use of layered rugs in contrasting styles, which certainly adds character to this room.
A dreamy kitchen has been designed in teal and gold. Cabinets are beautifully detailed with golden frames – like artwork in the kitchen. A centre island opens up the space – creating a large area for entertaining in true style. We also love the inclusion of a vintage oven to complement the cabinetry. Overall, a luxe yet classic kitchen with glamourous touches!
A built-in eating nook adds to the overall splendour and functionality of this space. The tan leather tones stand out here and adds to the beauty of this area – a gathering point for the entire family. Open shelving carries across the tops of the kitchen windows – almost acting as a shield, but still allowing for light to infiltrate the room. A clever and functional option in this kitchen!
The master bedroom feels a little more traditional, but certainly does not lack charm or glamour here. A vintage portrait adds a classic touch to the bedroom, while white paneled walls create a cosy area with depth and texture. A mix of wood, glass and fabric completes this layered bedroom. A palette of beige, white, black and gold is enhanced with the many textures and tones present in this space.
