The Aven is a serene retreat
Nestled just off the main road of Camps Bay Drive, The Aven is a serene retreat that offers the perfect balance of near and far – close enough to reach the beach in five minutes, yet secluded enough from Camp’s Bay hustle and bustle to bask in the tranquillity of Table Mountain’s energy and the breathtaking ocean views.
Designed by Thomas Geh Architects, this contemporary minimalist gem is a striking masterpiece. The villa boasts six ensuite bedrooms – private retreats in their own right – each bathed in natural light. Two additional ensuite bedrooms crown the top level, accompanied by a state-of-the-art kitchen, several indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces, a plunge pool, and even more breathtaking vistas. Designed as a boutique hotel haven, The Aven is ideal for family reunions, multi-generational vacations, or intimate gatherings.
The neutral, monochromatic interiors feature screed floors and expansive glass doors and windows that draw the outdoors in, offering panoramic views of the sea, the surrounding nature, and the mountains. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, from the earthy furnishings and textured luxury linens to the seagrass rugs, marble, and oak finishes.
The villa’s understated luxury shines through in the thoughtful details: fresh fruit bowls, plush Mungo beach towels, organic Fijn Botanicals toiletries, and chilled Chardonnay by the pool. The Belgian owners have gone above and beyond to create an experience that exceeds expectations. Their dedication is evident in every element—from the ambience and soothing surround sound to the delicious complimentary breakfast that invites you to linger and savour the moment.
Here, time slows, the sun shines, and the sea beckons. Whether you choose to explore or simply relax, The Aven promises an unforgettable escape into seaside serenity.
The Aven is available to rent through Perfect Hideaways. The property can be rented out privately with the option of either six or eight ensuite rooms. Daily housekeeping is available, along with a full-time chef.
