URBANTIME: Making Outdoor Moments More Memorable

The time we spend in urban public spaces and outdoors deserves the same attention and quality as the time we spend in our homes. URBANTIME was born of this belief; a name that reflects the brand’s mission: to create a collection of furniture designed to make outdoor moments more comfortable.

When we wait for the train, when we enjoy an ice cream in the shade of a tree or in a square, when we allow ourselves a minute of recovery before the next training stretch along a cycle path. URBANTIME was born for these and for many other moments, offering a wide range of products: from benches, available in many models, to chairs, to tables and accessories. Elements designed to be not only functional but also durable.

Respecting the very high standards of quality and durability – cornerstones of the company – is made possible thanks to the high industrialization of Diemmebi, which carries out most of the manufacturing in its own production site, obtaining constant and meticulous control.

Inspired by Italian landscapes

URBANTIME, with the Art Direction of Basaglia + Rota Nodari Studio, is design that finds inspiration in the beauty of the cities, their culture, and in the evocative Italian landscapes, so that the furniture can become the natural complement to the space that welcomes it.

This without neglecting respect for the environment. Italy has recently adopted an action plan for sustainability that draws inspiration from the guidelines established by the European Commission in 2008. A plan that aims to spread a culture of environmental innovation in the market, to encourage buyers to adopt a sustainable approach, to respond effectively to global challenges.

Sustainable Style

All the products of the URBANTIME collection fall within the CAM directives. They are therefore designed from the outset to facilitate their disposal at the end of their life. Each product is thus made from 100% recyclable materials and no paints containing substances that are harmful to people and the environment.

Choosing URBANTIME for public projects is not only a conscious choice but also helps to promote a more sustainable production and more virtuous consumption models.

Some of the latest projects:

Tor Vergata University, Faculty of Economics (Rome)

Designed following the model of Anglo-Saxon campuses, the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ spreads over about 600 hectares, housing the building of the Faculty of Economics. The University has chosen URBANTIME outdoor furniture to welcome the students from the courses of the Economics, Finance, Management, and Law departments. A large project that decorates the entrance hall of the building.

Municipal Library, Rozzano (Milan)

A partially covered space in which the wooden beams and the red bricks covered with graffiti create a space with a strong urban flavour – this is the municipal library of Rozzano, Milan. A suspended place, waiting to be experienced.

Offices San Donato Milanese

Offices, San Donato Milanese (Milan)

A zen space is rebalanced by the clean lines of the ZEROQUINDICI.015 outdoor collection. Weather-resistant and long-lasting concave and convex benches, cubes and tables that decorate the exterior of the offices with creativity.

CUOA Business School, Private Foundation, Altavilla Vicentina (Vicenza)

Passepartout tables and Busy chairs take their places in the garden of the prestigious CUOA business school, a training beacon in the Northeast for managers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and young graduates. In the colours red, anthracite, and white, these furnishings give further character to the venue, Villa Valmarana Morosini, thus allowing the training and networking activities to make the most of the garden that welcomes them.
