Founded in Cape Town in 2005, the company’s immense success today is all built on a simple idea Hoets had years ago: a patented notch system, which allows strands of metal ball chains to be notched into laser-cut stainless steel frames.

This, along with endless creativity when it comes to dreaming up bespoke designs inspired by nature and geometry is what made Willowlamp the guiding light in design it is today, with their magnificent designs adorning spaces both large and small from exclusive six-star resorts to luxury homes and exquisite apartments around the globe. This includes commercial installations in the UAE, UK and Europe and several prestigious hospitality projects such as Cathedrale Restaurant and Bar in Las Vegas, Crown hotel in Perth and JW Marriott hotel in Carolina.
