Cosentino sustainable surfaces

The beauty of white.

Malibu

Known for its novel, sustainable surfaces, Cosentino is at the forefront of innovation, setting trends and inspiring people.

The latest innovative offering from the Spanish-based company is Silverkoast by Dekton – a carbon-neutral surface range inspired by California’s coastline.

“The waves breaking on the shores of Malibu, the reflection of the sunrise on the waters of its lagoon or the salty dunes of the Santa Monica coast. The serene and immense whites of the Pacific inspire Silverkoast,” explains the company.

“It is a journey along California’s most iconic coastline combined with the absolute beauty of two emblematic marbles: Carrara and Ivory White.”

The two predominantly white designs are available in both polished and velvet finishes for a light, bright yet ultra-luxe look.

The first design, Marina, is inspired by “the whimsical salt patterns that low tide leaves on the sand and rocks. These delicate white ridges, common on the beaches of El Matador, El Sol and Punto Cero, are materialised in an asymmetrical pattern of grey veins on a white base that reinterprets the classic elegance of Carrara marble”.

Marina is perfect for kitchens and bathrooms and large surface applications such as flooring and cladding.

Laguna

The second design, Laguna, draws inspiration from “the natural treasures of the Santa Monica shores. The white sand of Zuma Beach, the mesmerising reflections of the sun on the calm waters of Malibu Lagoon and the waves breaking on the shores of Carbon and Topanga are rendered in subtle and delicate veins on an ivory white background.”

Laguna can be used indoors or out and pairs equally well with cool and warm schemes.
