Neolith: Take La Chance On Me

Neolith teams up with Parisian furniture designer, La Chance, for Maison & Objet.

Neolith, a market leading brand of Sintered Stone, collaborated with award winning design firm La Chance for a special reception in the heart of Paris during Maison & Objet, at the furniture designer’s showroom at 4 rue de la Pierre Levée on 11th September 2019.

The duo have worked on an installation juxtaposing La Chance’s design acumen with Neolith’s hyper-realistic aesthetic. La Chance’s latest pieces were showcased at the event, against a background of Neolith patterns including its newest addition, the award-winning Mar del Plata.

Visitors were invited to enjoy a drink and explore the result of this promising new partnership, while mingling with the Neolith and La Chance teams.

A shared passion for cutting edge design and commitment to sustainable values brought the two companies together. La Chance’s creative approach is guided by its love for quality materials, a perfect match for Neolith’s versatility and beautiful designs.

Taking a dedicated green and responsible approach to sourcing material, the Parisian firm has promised to not use unsustainable resources for its creations. Sharing this view, Neolith uses only natural materials for its slabs.

Furthermore a recent investment in new technology led to the development of HYDRO-NDD 2.0. This revolutionary design system allows its patterns to be printed using water based inks, rather than solvents, dramatically reducing the product’s carbon footprint.

Mar Esteve Cortes, Neolith director, comments, “Every different La Chance piece exerts such an individual personality and is a testament to the team of designers and architects behind them. It’s for this reason we knew they were a natural fit for Neolith.

“Inspiration thrive in collaboration and we’re always excited to push the limits of interior design by combining strengths with those of different industries and creative minds.”

Jean-Baptiste Souletie, La Chance co-founder, adds, “Quality and sustainable materials are at the heart of every piece we make so we’re eager to see what we can create using Neolith. The organic stone effects it produces give a sense of being rooted in nature, perfectly encapsulating our love of sustainability.”
