Spotlight Cosentino
A premium sustainable surface choice with versatile aesthetic appeal, Dekton setting trends and inspiring homeowners and designers worldwide with its wide range of applications and finishes.
Architecture and design studio Nobo Estudio recently chose Dekton Nacre as their preferred surface for a project in Extremadura, Spain.
The elegant surface was used for the kitchen and bathroom worktops and kitchen island, perfectly complementing the beautiful wood cabinetry and furniture in a variety of natural materials, creating a timeless look and warm ambience.
“Oak wood is the star of this project, where it has been used particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. The rest of the materials used, such as microcement and paint, are all part of the same colour range, giving a natural feel to the different spaces,” explains Cosentino of the project.
“For the furniture, they chose neutral, white and earthy tones, which bring simplicity and extra warmth to the design and made it necessary for some of the finishes to be in the same colour range. Therefore, the studio looked for materials that followed this line and finally chose Dekton Nacre for the kitchen and bathroom worktops.”
Nobo Estudio concurs: “Dekton Nacre was aesthetically perfect for both spaces. We chose it because of its colour and texture, but we also took into account all its properties. And it was with great satisfaction that, once installed, we realised that it perfectly matched the atmosphere of the house, not to mention the ease and peace of mind that comes from having professionals to advise us on technical issues.”
Ultra-compact, high-performance Dekton surfaces are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It is scratch, stain, fire, heat, abrasion and UV-resistant, as well as non-porous. In addition, all Dekton products come with a 25-year surface warranty.
Dekton is available from Cosentino.
