The vision becomes reality
Months of meticulous planning, 3D modelling, and design culminated in a four-month construction journey that brought this vision to life. Every element was engineered for excellence – from the acoustics to the aesthetics.
To accommodate an astonishing 3m² of combined subwoofer cone area and 60,000 watts of amplification, the room was precision-built to eliminate vibrations and deliver flawless bass performance. Every square inch was optimised for acoustic integrity and visual harmony.
Lighting, a cornerstone of the ambiance, was entrusted to Lutron – a brand synonymous with engineering brilliance and human-centric design. Over 150 metres of LED strips and 130 lighting circuits were seamlessly integrated into acoustic wall and ceiling panels. The result? A dynamic lighting environment that shifts from cool to warm white or any hue across the RGB spectrum.
A showstopping centrepiece: ceiling panels featuring a black-and-white skyline of the aurora borealis, animated with Pixel LEDs to simulate the celestial dance of the northern lights. It’s not just a room, it’s an experience.
The technology behind the magic
Once construction was complete, the installation of cutting-edge technology began.
- Audio: A 28-channel Ascendo immersive audio system in an 11.11.6 Dolby Atmos configuration surrounds the audience with breathtaking clarity. Six 21-inch subwoofers behind the screen, four more at the rear, and a 32-inch infrasonic subwoofer deliver earth-shaking bass, all calibrated using Trinnov’s revolutionary WaveForming technology for consistent sound across every seat.
- Amplification: Ascendo amplifiers unleash 60,000 watts of subwoofer power, while Trinnov Amplitude amplifiers add over 10,000 watts to the speaker system.
- Visuals: A 177-inch Stewart Filmscreen with Harmony acoustically transparent fabric ensures perfect audio alignment. Paired with the Barco Hodr cinemascope projector, boasting over 7,500 lumens, the result is cinematic brilliance – vibrant, razor-sharp, and true to the director’s vision.
- Seating: Luxury meets ergonomics with custom-designed seating from Moovia, the German masters of cinema comfort. A blend of cinema and media room chairs, finished in premium materials with walnut accents, offer motorised adjustments and RGB-lit cupholders. Integrated with Control4 automation, the seats reset automatically when the system powers down.
