Success Stories and Case Studies: LAMILUX FRP Wall Cladding in a Dual-Purpose Building
In modern architecture and design, few projects present unique challenges like buildings serving both industrial and office purposes. A recent case study featuring LAMILUX FRP wall cladding shows how innovative materials can meet these needs. The project required solutions ensuring high hygiene standards in the food production area and providing an appealing and functional design for office spaces.
The building is the production facility for products sold in Pret a Manger stores in Dubai. Pret a Manger is an internationally known company specializing in fresh, naturally prepared food. Focusing on quality and sustainability, Pret a Manger offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages made fresh daily.
The food production area requires strict hygiene standards, easy-to clean surfaces, and high durability. The adjacent office spaces, visited by clients, also need to be appealing while maintaining hygiene and functionality. For the food production section, our LAMILUX Embossed wall cladding was chosen. This product is designed to handle rigorous cleaning processes and maintain high hygiene standards. Its nearly seamless finish prevents mold growth and minimizes cleaning efforts. In the offices, our LAMILUX HG4000 wall cladding was used. This high-gloss material provides a sleek, modern look and is also easy to clean.
The dual application of LAMILUX FRP wall cladding was a great success. In the food production area, our Embossed material met all hygiene standards and provided a durable, low-maintenance solution. In the offices, the HG 4000 material created a professional, welcoming environment for clients and staff. The glossy finish added elegance and modernity while keeping the space clean.
This project shows how LAMILUX FRP wall cladding can be integrated into various environments. For architects and designers, this case study proves the versatility and effectiveness of our materials.
