The key to creating a bright and airy home is to embrace soft, luminous colours and to maximise the use of windows and natural lighting in the space. This is exactly what has been achieved in today’s house tour, where soft tones are used throughout to establish a brightness that the owners so desired. The overall feel is one of sophisticated yet relaxed family living. A mix of materials is present, with gorgeous soft furnishings that add to the overall feel of comfort and modern family life. 
The living areas boast a playful mix of textures with soft drapes, wooden furniture and upholstered seating that blend together effortlessly to achieve the overall look. The soft tones of the colour palette here are somewhat romantic and inviting. The designers opted to remove all dark colours and instead, embrace a mix of white, soft pastels and natural wood. In fact, solid wood flooring is also used throughout to add depth and definition in this space. 
Even in the study, there is an abundance of natural lighting that gives the room a clean, organised and fresh ambience. We love the fitted shelving unit in white that frames the windows above the desk. A classic-styled chair is also used for maximum comfort and style in this vibrant, contemporary study area. 
A mix of linen in soft pastel tones are casually positioned in the bedroom. Soft textures, bright natural lighting and an introduction of natural flora are used here.
