Plascon House Tour: Natural Curiosities and visual delight
This rich and powerful home has us swooning over its natural curiosities and depth of character.
This is arguably one of the most unique house tours we have explored in quite some time. Borrowing elements of Victorian naturalism, this home is striking and a feast for the senses. Teal walls and moody decor are a vision of ‘maximalist’ trends. With interesting stuffed animals, rich raw wood furnishings and curious skulls adorning every corner, this could easily be a museum of natural history.
Save for the bright yellow feature wall on which hundreds of pinned butterflies are on display, this space is an expression of a deep fascination and appreciation of the Earth’s wonders, reflected in teal, blue and white.
