Plascon House Tour: Contemporary Attic in Sweden
This gorgeously modern and streamlined attic in Sweden is beautifully designed in a crisp palette of white. Simplistic, contemporary and stylish – we love the striking use of interior glass walls and an all-white interior with the warmth of added wooden finishes.
The clever incorporation of glass panes as a separating wall leads us into the bedroom. A cosy, crisp and minimalist room, yet as a result of this modern ‘window wall’ it does not feel cut off from the rest of the house. In fact, the all-white interior makes the room appear larger than it actually is. Here light, space and the simplicity of design are highlighted. The kitchen too has a light, modern vibe going on. Spotlights line the white ceiling and stunning wood panelled walls add a sense of country chic style to this cosy kitchen space. All the modern appliances one would expect from a contemporary home is included, and an open shelf design allows for maximum use of space, storage and flow within this tiny area of the home. Similarly, the dining area is a celebration of light and space, with a simplistic layout that welcomes in natural light from the adjacent window. A rustic display of planted succulents line the window pane, bringing some greenery into this otherwise stark white interior. A clever touch of greenery is also added through the innovative use of modern art on the walls. The soft finishing touch of wood – through the dining furniture and woody tones of the area rug – add warmth and charm here. From inside the bedroom, the rest of the home appears clean, contemporary and minimalist in colour and layout. We love the eclectic placement of monochrome frames above the bed and a simple touch of blue that comes through via the bed covers. There is definitely a sense of Hygge cosiness and comfort that is created here. For Colours Schemes visit Plascon: Via
