Annie Sloan: DIY, Stencils & A Woodlands Inspired Dresser

What’s new at Annie Sloan? As the pioneers of Chalk Paint, the team shares all their latest DIY chalk painting tips, with new stencils and an inspired woodlands dresser to spark the imagination.

Silence, please for this jaw dropping woodland inspired wardrobe by Dingley Dell Creative. We love everything about this whimsical piece; the repeated flowers, the paisley-esque vine design, the woodland charm. Perhaps with Annie Sloan’s Meadow Flowers, Paisley Flower Garland and Countryside Bird stencil you could come up with something not a million miles from this fairytale fabulous piece. This kind of imaginative, almost magical painting is what we need at the moment. Truly, an inspired piece, don’t you think?

Next up, how magical are these four new stencils from Annie Sloan! From left to right, we have: Chinoiserie Birds, Paisley Floral Garland, Mexican Birds and Countryside Bird.

This stencil range is composed of lots of botanical and global influences; now that we can’t travel and the natural world has proven such an important refuge for many of us, it’s a great time to bring the big wide world into our homes! Annie herself uses them layered over one another, in single colours or a whole raft of Chalk Paint® shades and she admits to being obsessed with it! And we can see why!

All these stencils are inspired by history or art and by Annie’s own travels. They’re now available worldwide (please check with your local Stockist for availability).

If you’re looking for inspiration, be sure to visit Annie Sloan where you can learn about the latest colours, new products and find loads of DIY inspo for your next project.

Annie Sloan.
