Porus Studio: 4 Consoles To Transform Your Entryway
Elevate the entrance of your home with a console table. Did you know that the idea of a console table actually comes from classical architecture and the term console means a ledge on the wall acting as a support? Although the purpose and styles of consoles have changed over the years, it remains an essential item to give your entryway character and an established presence. Here are four consoles from Porus Studio for your consideration…
Located in Chicago’s heart, Michigan Avenue is one of the most popular avenues in the United States of America. Its name comes from Lake Michigan. As the home of important architectonic buildings such as the Chicago Water Tower, Michigan Avenue is a street well known to Chicago natives as well as tourists.
Reflecting the architectural design and urbanism along Michigan Avenue, the Porus Studio designers conceived the Michigan Console. Structured in aged brushed brass, the high-end black stained ashwood top of this contemporary console holds a Grey Kenzon Marble, featuring three drawers finished with a black leather interior. The Michigan Console is an indispensable piece in any modern living room décor.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Porus Studio completely contradicts that saying, bringing a console inspired by the Vegas Major Resort to your living room. The Vegas Console is made with polished brass tubes that support a black lacquered structure and a lacquered wood top.
This contemporary console will brighten up your living room décor with its drawers covered in black leather. This subsequently gives a sophisticated touch to this piece. This stunning modern console would fit into your stylish and contemporary living room. Vegas Console was designed by Porus Studio and is part of the Casegoods Collection.
Solomon Console
Designed by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum swells out toward Manhattan city. Contrasting with the strict city grid, the organic curves are a familiar landmark for art lovers and inspired Porus Studio designers to conceive the modern Solomon console.
Its structure is handcrafted in black stained ashwood that supports a Calacatta gold marble tabletop surrounded by aged brushed brass. The most iconic details are the handles, reminiscent of the Guggenheim Museum seen from below, made alternately in aged brushed and polished brass. Highlight contemporary hallways with the deluxe and modern Solomon console table, while adorning afford discreet storage.
Sutter
Johann Sutter is known for his association with the California Gold Rush by the discovery of gold by James W. Marshall and the mill-making team at Sutter’s Mill. Such a phenomenal discovery inspired Porus Studios to create the modern Sutter Console, featuring an aged brushed brass with a varnish structure. The stunning dark oak wood top of the contemporary console holds a charming black and gold marble. The stunning Sutter Console will add style and grace to any contemporary living space.
Give your entryway distinction with a classic console. Shop one of these prestigious finds now available from Porus Studio.
