HAY Introduces Terrazza: Contemporary Outdoor Accessories for Hospitality and Workplace Settings
As outdoor environments continue to evolve into fully considered extensions of interior spaces, HAY introduces Terrazza, a new collection of versatile accessories designed for hospitality, workplace and shared public settings. Applying the brand’s contemporary design clarity to open-air living, Terrazza brings together parasols, cushions and rugs to shape outdoor areas that feel both functional and inviting.
At the centre of the collection is the Terrazza Parasol.
Crafted from durable, UV-safe fabric and supported by a lightweight aluminium pole, it offers adaptable shade while contributing to a space’s visual character. Available in a range of shapes and sizes, the parasol accommodates varied seating configurations, while a tilting function allows adjustment throughout the day – essential for professional environments where flexibility is key.
A solid concrete base with a galvanised iron rod ensures stability in shared settings, reinforcing durability without compromising simplicity. A lightweight, UV-resistant cover extends the parasol’s lifespan, enabling long-term use across seasons.
Softness enters through the Terrazza cushion range.
Designed for outdoor durability, the cushions are made from recycled polyester and feature removable covers for ease of care. Contemporary stripes and solid tones allow for cohesive styling across terraces, courtyards and café seating. The folding seat cushion introduces additional versatility, supporting both seat and back in flexible layouts, while the standard seat cushion offers a streamlined comfort solution.
Through Terrazza, HAY demonstrates how textiles, shade and soft surfaces can define atmosphere. The collection transforms outdoor settings, from hotel terraces to workplace balconies, into welcoming environments shaped by thoughtful design and enduring functionality.
