Lotters Pine – Now Available Online
Lotters Pine is proud to announce the launch of their online furniture store – the perfect answer for people looking to transform their living spaces during the lockdown. With many people having to adapt their living spaces into home offices and classrooms – Lotters Pine is using their 50 years of expertise to provide solutions.
The coronavirus pandemic has shown people the importance of connecting as communities and to #SupportLocal businesses, and the Lotters Pine online store lets people do both – from the safety and comfort of their own homes.
The company is well-known for designing and manufacturing quality raw pine furniture and sells the chalk paint and stains to customise them. They also have a business relationship with the Stainshop to help customers who know the look they want but are short of time.
The Lotters Pine online store will initially feature key product categories that are entirely aligned with people’s changing needs, and in tune with the latest home décor trends. One of the most important lifestyle changes for families has been the closure of and staggered opening of schools – children need to be able to study effectively at home. Without the option of visiting friends, they require additional in-home entertainment, too.
“We’ve been prioritising work on our online store so that people can order essential furniture items as soon as possible,” commented Petro Riding, one of the company’s directors. “Our online store and delivery service are currently only available to residents of Gauteng, but we are working hard to extend this offering nationwide as soon as possible. In the meantime, all Lotters Pine stores are now open for customers to collect essential goods,” she added.
The range of cots, compactums and feeding chairs can help make the experience of becoming lockdown parents less stressful, while older kids will appreciate having their own desks and chairs – just like at school. Kists for storing toys, books and clothing will help reduce the clutter, while traditional wooden toys such as doll’s house furniture and rocking horses are great alternatives to more screen time.
With favourite family restaurants only able to offer takeaways, eating at home is the new eating out and the dining room has become the centre of attention. The Lotters Pine range of dining tables can serve as work or study stations during the day and then transform into attractive family eating spaces for shared lunches and dinners.
“We aim to deliver all orders quickly, efficiently and safely, with our delivery teams following all COVID-19 safety protocols,” explained Greg Riding, Lotters Pine Logistics and Warehouse Manager. “Our partners are working as efficiently as possible under the current restrictions to manufacture our most in-demand products and avoid delays,” he added.
Extra time spent at home has given people more time to plan – and create – your ideal habitat. Lotters Pine can help make interior design dreams come true, with everything from home bars (to replace locked down watering holes) to stands for plasma TVs.
For those who are new to working from home, the Lotters Pine range of home office and study furniture will ensure productivity thanks to on-trend leaning desks and clever storage solutions to help organise #WFH spaces.
Kern Oosthuizen, Founder and Creative Director of the Stainshop, welcomed the launch of the Lotters Pine online store: “We’ve opened our workshop to provide our painting services to Lotters Pine customers and we are working as quickly as possible to supply beautifully treated furniture.” Oosthuizen added that all Stainshop paint techniques and staining options are available on request, including the trending Solid White Duco as well as stains such as Oregon, Mahogany and Oak, plus whitewashes, solid colours, unique chalk paint finishes and the distressed technique.
