Jorge loves travelling to various countries to source the Chair Crazy impressive range of furniture. Over the years he has visited Turkey, Spain, China and Italy to personally curate each piece and remain on-trend. Jorge attends international Furniture Fairs for inspiration and brings back new designs to South Africa for the local market to enjoy. Chair Crazy customers are spoilt for choice with the large variety of styles and regular new arrivals.

Jorge was born in Mozambique and then lived in Zimbabwe where he owned a furniture factory. He settled in the beautiful Mother City, Cape Town later and has owned Chair Crazy for the last 16 years. His style is hands-on and believes in the benefits of working directly with furniture factories. At Chair Crazy there is always consumer satisfaction as stock is generally readily available.

Commercial Project Feature

Kauai recently joined The Point Mall in Sea Point, Cape Town offering their delicious healthy menu to patrons for sit-down or take away. The new interior was on brand and beautifully designed incorporating a modern, natural feel.

Chair Crazy collaborated with the designers to offer an alternative high seating area for patrons. The Lisboa Barstool was the product of choice in black and was conveniently placed around the high tables at the entrance to the store. These barstools are also available in grey, white or chocolate and are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Dimensions are: height: 102,20 x seat height: 77,00 x weight: 42,30 x length 44,10 cm. The product is injected with fibreglass and PP using gas-assisted injection moulding technology and UV protection.
