Spring Entertaining with Begin Interiors | A Collection of New Pieces

As warmer days return and South African homes begin opening up for spring entertaining, Begin Interiors is embracing the season with a collection of new pieces designed around natural materials, sculptural form and refined functionality.

Buka

At the heart of the collection is the Buka Dining Table, available in two distinctive finishes. The first pairs a bold geometric steel base with a 50 mm solid oak top, bringing together strength, warmth and rich natural texture. The second features the same architectural steel base with a sleek engineered stone top, creating a more polished, contemporary interpretation. Both versions measure 240 cm x 120 cm and are designed to make a confident statement in modern dining spaces.

Maui

For those drawn to a softer, more organic aesthetic, the Maui Dining Table offers a different expression of timeless design. Crafted entirely from solid oak and measuring 300 cm x 120 cm, its generous scale and understated silhouette make it ideal for long lunches, family gatherings and effortless spring entertaining.

Tokyo

The new Tokyo Sofa continues this focus on material contrast and tactile comfort. With a solid oak base and refined steel legs, it is available in either café au lait fabric for a light, neutral finish or Crazy Horse caramel genuine leather for a richer, more characterful look. At 280 cm x 90 cm, both versions bring a sense of relaxed luxury to contemporary living spaces.

Together, these pieces reflect several of the season’s strongest design directions: natural textures, statement surfaces, warm earthy tones and furniture designed for gathering. They also speak to Begin Interiors’ broader philosophy of creating locally made, customisable furniture that celebrates craftsmanship and enduring design.

This spring, the focus is simple: create spaces that invite people in, encourage connection and make everyday living feel beautifully considered.
