The Homegrown Expo is Now On
The third Homegrown Expo, which focuses on authentic, home-grown finds, will take place from 24 to 26 July at Canal Walk, Century City. Located at the epicentre, the Centre Court, the Expo will feature products including clothing, art, décor, jewellery, ceramics and more.
Says Expo Organiser, Miriam Vallie: “We’re so excited to host the Homegrown Expo at Canal Walk again. We’re blown away by the talent and entrepreneurship of our exhibitors, who have all been handpicked, and strongly believe local entrepreneurs should be given the opportunity to introduce their products to the market. There is no better place to do so than Canal Walk! ”
According to Vallie, they have carefully curated the Expo so that there will be something for everyone. “From handmade ceramics to bespoke jewellery, beautiful décor to fun kids’ clothing, the Expo promises to offer visitors the opportunity to get to know and support local design and crafts. We truly believe supporting local is now more important than ever before. When you support handmade, you support a business, its employees and families. We all need to pull together in order to create jobs and have an impact on our economy,” Vallie concludes.
The Expo will be open Friday to Sunday from 9am to 7pm. Entry is free.
