Tuis | Home Promises To Pull Out All The Stops At The Johannesburg Homemakers Expo
Proudly hosted by Tuis | Home, the Tuis | Home Theatre will delight and inform Johannesburg HOMEMAKERS Expo visitors with celebrity-lead presentations, tastings and hands-on demonstrations.
Visitors can expect morning coffee tastings, food demonstrations, paint-technique masterclasses, pop-up shops, and never-to-be-repeated subscription offers. As a bonus, there’s lots of giveaways, prizes and sneaky take-away treats!
Special guests this year include actor, Armand Aucamp, who will cook up a storm with recipes from his cookbook, Armand Kook Kaal and celebrity chef, Renette Vosloo who will share her secrets from her book Die Rooitamatie Storie.
Masterclasses and tastings also feature in the line-up this year thanks to Chalk paint expert Nadine Vosloo of Tjhoko Paint, who will show visitors how to transform almost anything into a beautiful showpiece using chalk paint.
Secondly, for the gin beginners or fanatics, local gin producers Triple Three Gin will take visitors on a taste exploration to discover the best ways to enjoy this trendy drink.
For those who need a little pre-lunch pick-me-up, Sihle from Sihle’s Brew Roasted Coffee will host daily tastings and chats where visitors can hear his incredible success story, find out about how he is training and inspiring young, under privileged baristas throughout South Africa and, of course, taste some delicious, locally-produced coffee.

This year the Johannesburg HOMEMAKERS Expo brings visitors the stories behind the best products in home improvement. The Expo is where visitors can come face-to-face with the craftspeople or knowledgeable experts who will provide them with a greater understanding of their products and services.
The show will help to expand dialogue between homeowners and suppliers also offering ways for them to see, touch, feel and compare products and services.
The 2019 theme of Raw Comfort, embraces perfect imperfections, and through various talks and demonstrations will show visitors how to get in touch with a more organic world.
