Spotlight: House of Task
Born out of a pursuit of beauty and excellence, House of Task was founded by interior stylist and businesswoman Mali Langa in 2016.
Inspired by childhood memories of her aunt styling their family home in Limpopo, Mali’s vision for House of Task was clear from the start: to stress the importance of living your dreams and working tirelessly to leave a positive impact on the world, one that strives to use design to showcase African distinction to the highest degree.
Lofty and noble ambitions one might say, but ones that Mali have come to exceed by continuously pushing the envelope for advancements and innovations in the sector.
Today, House of Task is an award-winning interior studio recognised for its innovative offerings and exclusive interior-design solutions for retail, hospitality, commercial and high-end residential projects, with services ranging from full turnkey solutions to 3D modelling, styling, and shopfitting and construction.
“I’ve built the business from an infant idea through collaborating with the right team, enabling creativity and innovation to flourish,” says Mali.
“It’s a winning formula and it’s evident in the work House of Task produces.”
“Our professional team works together to elevate each other in alignment with the company’s goals and aspirations. House of Task aspires to empower and build our employee’s skill sets and expand their knowledge so they can deliver the highest quality products and services for our client base. We aim to be a trusted and recognisable force in interior design, shopfitting and interior construction.
Based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, House of Task also offers discerning clients a beautifully curated selection of original luxury designs, available to shop online.
