Yuan Gallery Sets New Standards in Contemporary Interior Construction in Taiwan

This prestigious recognition highlights Yuan Gallery’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and bespoke design, perfectly aligning with the discerning tastes of high-end homeowners.

Yuan Gallery’s recent project, Clearness and Serenity, exemplifies its expertise in creating luxurious, functional, and aesthetically stunning interiors. The project was commissioned by a family desiring a spacious and cohesive living area. The mother, a passionate cook, required a large kitchen. The designer emphasized the expansive views from the high-floor residence, creating an open-plan kitchen that seamlessly integrates with the dining and living areas. This design ensures the entire family enjoys a spacious and comfortable environment.

The design concept broke traditional Taiwanese room layouts by transforming two children’s rooms into compact bunk bed spaces. The small kitchen and a bedroom were merged to create an open-plan kitchen that connects with the dining and living areas. The design prioritizes safety, comfort, and aesthetic appeal, featuring rounded details throughout to prevent injuries and add a graceful touch.

Cassina’s classic furniture, custom-made wooden items, and meticulous attention to detail create a harmonious and sophisticated atmosphere. The living room features a cleverly concealed structural beam within a shaped ceiling, integrating air vents and illumination to counteract the beam’s oppressiveness.

The study area showcases a bespoke wooden shelf with edge panels echoing the large ceiling curves, creating a distinctive element of the home. Hidden storage solutions, including a humidity-controlled pantry in the kitchen, add convenience and luxury.

Safety in the children’s room was enhanced by commissioning a local artist to create iron windows featuring the children’s drawings. Each bunk bed level includes its own wardrobe, large windows with expansive views, and 150 cm high spaces for sitting and lying down. The terrace features a private open-air bath with a steel bathtub that doubles as an outdoor table.

The designer pursued minimalist and understated luxury, tailored exclusively for the clients. The penthouse’s design utilizes simple decorations and gentle spatial forms, complemented by custom-made furniture to create an almost artistic space. The residence’s atmosphere changes throughout the day, fostering a sense of clearness and serenity, defining the home’s core concept.

Every element in this penthouse reflects impeccable attention to detail, offering a seamless blend of comfort, functionality, and refined style. This project highlights how luxury can be presented not only in grandiosity but also in personalization, making every aspect of the home bespoke for the homeowners.
