Renovations Made Easy with WMI

To give you an idea of some of the things that can be done when you employ an interior design agency like Wanda Michelle Interiors (WMI), we’re sharing a sneak preview of one of their latest projects. Check out the examples of how this house, at the prestigious Pecanwood estate, was transformed by designers and the whole WMI team.

A grand entrance

This entrance had a water feature and dark heavy colours. The team decided to fill it in with ground and covered it with quartz carpet. They then introduced some statues for a dramatic and elegant entrance. Adding mirrors to the passage brings light and a little dramatic edge.

Outdoor living

The deck and rooftop terrace proved to be an engineering feat, but the WMI team pulled it off. They subsequently created more entertainment space for the client. The result is a space with a sense of floating on a ship. Views were capitalised on and the Hartebeespoort dam embraced.

Dining fit for a king

A new dining area was transformed into the epitome of elegance and style. This space was thus fitted with beautiful bulkheads, specialist lighting and of course, bespoke, manufactured furniture from WMI.

A SMART home

The client loves a good bar for his guests. WMI added full automation, solar power and backup energy systems, to create a truly SMART home. And no it doesn’t come with workers in place… watch this space for the professional shots.

Furthermore, kitchens are a WMI speciality as you’ll see in this beautiful renovation. Double volume bulkheads subsequently give the space a refined look.

Redefined Bedrooms

Each guest bedroom was treated as unique, with brand new bathrooms fully redesigned. Here, bespoke cabinetry, headboards, art and pedestals were added. All new bulkheads, lighting and flooring therefore take these spaces to a new level.

The glass partition and fireplace were replaced by a solid wall, creating privacy in the main bedroom.Bespoke cabinetry was added for all the TVs, as well as a biofuel fireplace. The room was decorated with art, rugs, furniture and decor by WMI.
