Plascon House Tour: A Parisian Loft
Another gorgeous loft to tantalise the senses! We’re seeing a number of beautiful lofts featured across the interior spreads of luxury living magazines, and we can certainly see why! This Parisian loft combines all our favourite features, including interior glass walls, exposed wooden beams and beautifully clad interior layouts that maximise the open plan living!
Naturals greens and a pop of yellow give this living area a fresh look and feel. We also love the modern glass sphere chandeliers that are suspended at different heights above the coffee table (and on the staircase) which add to the contemporary tone of this home. The clever incorporation of a massive skylight window allows for ample lighting in this space, which is thankfully welcomed into the lounge area through the use of a full-length glass interior wall. The glass is a wonderfully reflective material within this loft, and we see the play of light and air that gives the room a wonderfully bright and modern ambiance. The expanse is carefully separated into clear functional zones, including a modern dining room space with a rustic wooden table and striking black industrial light fittings. The area beneath the loft bedroom is converted into a gorgeous sitting area, complete with a retro purple sofa that adds flair here. The use of a neutral area rug adds warmth and cosiness to this space and a separate desk area provides the perfect spot to work from home. The open plan bedroom and bathroom is a modern trend, and although not for everyone, often works well within a loft where space is limited. Here a burst of green adds energy and the matte cream surface of the bathroom sink add to the richness of shades and textures in this room. The use of urban artwork on the side pedestal adds interest. Contact: Plascon Via
