Celebrate Summer with Tinzeltown
Madonna was right, we’ve all been true blue for long enough. But now that the sun’s out and the skies are clear, blue is no longer a feeling, it’s a way of life. From kitchen tiles to lampshades, cushions to cocktails, this season’s cerulean wave is everywhere, catching the light and calling us outside. It’s the eternal promise of summer – sea, sky, and sparkle – best paired with a squeeze of Positano lemon or a dash of Palm Beach coral for that perfect al fresco jaw-dropper. Think blue linen, citrus hues, and an Aperol Spritz with a sassy dance partner.
And nowhere does this spirit shine brighter than at The Bohoho by Tinzeltown, a show-stopping private villa perched on the shores of Camps Bay, Cape Town. Available to rent for those who like their getaways glamorous, this is where holiday and Hollywood collide. Conceived by interior designer Daniela Gottschalk of Tinzeltown, The Bohoho is a wild celebration of colour and character. “It’s fairytales, it’s luscious, it’s unseen and unforeseeable,” she says.
Step inside, and you’ll find yourself somewhere between Palm Springs and Studio 54. Breezeblocks and sunken sofas meet glittering accents, mirrored surfaces, and a palette that could make even Don Draper order another Old Fashioned. “It’s the elegance of a hotel with the laissez-faire of an Ibizan finca,” Gottschalk explains. “A dash of Chateau Marmont sexiness, garnished with glitter.”
Every corner is a vignette: a curated explosion of art, texture, and attitude. Like all Tinzeltown projects, it’s designed to make you feel something; a place where imagination runs wild and good taste has a sense of humour.
With panoramic ocean views, vibrant interiors, and a spirit that’s equal parts Riviera and retro Hollywood, The Bohoho by Tinzeltown isn’t just a house, it’s a vacation fantasy brought to life.
