Chicshak Interiors: The Savanna Private Game Lodge
An exclusive 5-star lodge, Savanna Private Game Lodge is situated in the internationally famous Sabi Sand Reserve within the greater Kruger National Park Conservancy. This internationally acclaimed lodge offers an exclusive, personalised and intimate safari experience to guests, with a unique style of accommodation.
Chicshak Interiors worked on the refurbishment of the Savanna Suite – an opulent home away from home under thatch.
Two large, beautifully furnished bedrooms lie on either side of an interconnecting lounge. Each has an outsized bathroom with free-standing bath, double vanities, double shower, and toilet. The bathrooms open onto paved outdoor showers. The bedrooms have glass doors with screens leading out onto covered patios, heated plunge pools and private waterholes in the bush.
Says the team from Chicshak Interiors, “We loved working on the refurbishment of the Savanna Suite. We introduced hints of colour into a neutral colour palette, creating a soothing and relaxing setting.”
Safari experiences are not limited to game drives – complete hospitality is what gives a lodge the edge. Savanna Game Lodge gets this right in all aspects including the beautifully decorated suites. The suites are gorgeously comfortable as well as aesthetically pleasing. With a mix of natural materials throughout the spaces, the design team further introduced beautiful artefacts hinting at our African heritage.
The Savanna Suite’s unique facilities are much in demand by families who would like to have their children under the same roof but not in the same bedroom, or groups of friends wishing to spend quality time together. A butler in attendance at dinner and a private game viewing vehicle with dedicated ranger and tracker to take care of all their needs completes the Savanna Suite package.
