House Tour: The White House
White has a way of transforming a dark space into a fresh, bright interior. This is exactly the outcome in today’s house tour – where a New Jersey home embraces the power and beauty of white for a totally inspired look.
Beautiful hardwood flooring sets the tone in this stylish home. In the kitchen, all-white cabinets lend the space a serene, simple and clean tone. White windows and a large white farmhouse sink add to the overall sense of elegance in this space. A large kitchen island also steals the show here – beautifully positioned under two large glass pendants. Simple metallic bar stools add a touch of texture here.
The dining room comes into its own with dark blue cabinets, a large table and ghost chairs for a modern ambience. Wall-length custom cabinets are a showstopper here and provide ample storage. Owners opted to showcase white decor in this stylish unit and we love the symmetry and flow this creates in the space. Overall, the dining room is sophisticated and on-trend – the perfect adult space for dining and entertainment.
Large windows add to the breathing space present in the living room. It has windows on every wall, with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams which bring character. Overall, the living room is a bright and happy space with a large L-shaped couch which provides ample space for a growing family. We also love the contrast of the dark couch against the white space. A beautiful, contemporary feel!
Right down to the bathrooms, we see that white becomes a feature in just about every room. The sleek simplicity of this home, make it a welcoming and relaxing space.
