RMB Latitudes 2025: Where Art, Culture, and Community Collide
This year at RMB Latitudes, the art isn’t just hanging on the walls, it’s speaking volumes.
Running from 23 to 25 May at the Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg, highlights of this year’s fair include:
RMB Latitude Talks
Presented by BASA, the 2025 Talks embrace this global context, offering a series of dynamic, future-facing conversations that explore how artists, curators, collectors and cultural thinkers are forging new connections across continents and disciplines.
Food, Wine & Family Fun
Set in the magical Shepstone Gardens, this event is a feast for the senses with wood-fired pizzas, gourmet picnics, Greek bites, burgers, and artisanal gelato — all paired with Aperol Spritzes, bubbly, and boutique wines from Clink. Kids can get creative at the Young Artists’ Playground, where art meets climate awareness in a calm outdoor space.
Independent Art Practice
Step into the Glass Marquee, the vibrant heart of RMB Latitudes, where you’ll discover the unfiltered visions of creators like printmaker Bevan de Wet, artist Karin Preller, the groundbreaking BNAP FOUNDATION, painter Givan Lötz, the innovative collective Occupying The Gallery, and ceramic sculptor Kevin Collins. In our ever-evolving art ecosystem, this dedicated space functions as a fertile ground where artistic independence can flourish, and where visitors can connect with the pulse of contemporary creativity in its purest form.
