Plascon House Tour: Playful Pop Art Home

Colour can certainly make or break the design of a home. Today’s lavish north London house embraces life in full colour with rooms that are filled with pop art and quirky touches.

Packed with colour and texture, the living room is a breath of fresh air. A little 80’s with a kaleidoscope of colours and a dusty pink backdrop, the space feels fresh and quirky. From unconventional conical lighting fittings to bold velvet blue sofas and a vibrant area rug, this space is completely decked out in colour.

We love the pops of bright yellow in the kitchen. Against a backdrop of marble and black, it draws us into this space. Floor-to-ceiling Crittall windows open on to a newly landscaped garden (complete with outdoor fireplace) which create a light, bright and inviting kitchen.

The dining table is a vintage 1965 design by Harvey Probber Studio. The chairs are a Danish mid-century classic by Niels Otto Møller. We love how the interior windows allow for light to stream into all areas of this home. Colourful artwork on the walls connects this space to the rest of the home – a colourful feast in every space.

Step inside a deep-sea blue bathroom with textured walls and ceilings that transports us out into the deep blue. Seventies wall lights add a touch of glam here while the polished-plaster walls are in Pantone 3025 C. It is a mesmerizing space.

The master suite feels vibrant and inviting. Lighter tones create a restful space, without losing the power of colour. Abstract art creates a beautiful display above the bed.

The master bathroom is a haven of elegance with golden finishes and a minimalist look. Windows allow for an abundance of light here while wooden floors and a marble tub add to the overall sense of sophisticated living.
