Plascon House Tour: Rustic Beauty
Today we are visiting a beautiful holiday villa in Spain where rustic elegance meets natural beauty. The interior design is simple and sophisticated and this two-bedroom Mallorca rental is the perfect place to unwind while on vacation in the Spain countryside.
Surrounded by centuries-old oak trees, the house is located in a gorgeous World Heritage village. The ideal location that blends the simplicity of nature with the use of natural materials. The home’s simple design radiates harmony and fresh tranquility. Untreated wood surfaces and the use of natural materials creates a functional homey atmosphere.
The neutral interior draws inspiration from the external elements and natural simplicity of nature. Doors open up to outside patios and extend the living spaces to the exterior of this pristine villa. White walls, natural wood window frames and beautiful wooden beamed ceilings add to the minimalistic approach of this home. Decor accents highlight the natural feel of this home with rattan finishes, wooden crates and jute rugs that add texture to this living space. The result is a striking yet simple and rustic interior.
We love the natural stone walls that surround this home – intrinsic of the culture and building traditions of Spain. An exterior porch is a perfect spot to enjoy the Spanish sunshine and the play on outdoor and indoor living is idyllic in this space. The soft wooden tones of the flooring further create a harmonious flow between the living spaces and we love how the natural light is welcomed into every room.
