What’s on in March?

Escape to the Chateau, Season 4 and Season 5

The journey continues for Dick and Angel Strawbridge in season 4 of Escape to the Chateau! The show follows this daring couple as they make their French castle dream come true – from shopping for chateaux with an estate agent, to overcoming huge hurdles, and ultimately transforming a neglected wreck into a stunning home and successful business.

Fix It and Finish It, Season 1

On Fix It and Finish It, Antonio Sabato Jr. travels to different locations, surprising lucky homeowners and helping to “fix and finish” their homes. Whether it’s a living room, bedroom, dining room, deck or even restoring a beat up old RV, Antonio and his team are ready to tackle it all… in ONE DAY!

Room To Improve, Season 12

Room to Improve sets out to create a diverse range of beautifully designed and cleverly built homes. In this season, master architect Dermot Bannon is ready to take on an array of properties, some with quirkier challenges than others – from pebble dash to plywood, steep embankments to faux Georgian pillars. His clients are more informed, more opinionated and more demanding than ever before, but similarly to all other years, there is only one person who they feel can make their household dreams come true.

The Gardener, Season 11

Presented by Tanya Visser, editor of The Gardener magazine; The Gardener is a practical, informative, and proudly South African gardening show that tackles everything that takes place in and around your garden.

Great British Gardens: Season by Season, Season 2

On Great British Gardens, renowned horticulturist Carol Klein embarks on another season by season tour, visiting some of Britain’s favourite and most remarkable gardens, through a whole year.

Each episode explores one inspiring garden: from the epic splendour of Arundel Castle Gardens, to the minutely tended borders of Coton Manor, or Wollerton Old Hall Gardens. And from the pioneering plantsmanship at Bressingham Hall and Beth Chatto Gardens, to two jewels in the crown of Wales’ horticultural heritage – and more.

Grand Designs New Zealand, Season 3

Hosted by Architect Chris Moller, Grand Designs New Zealand shares the stories of ambitious creatives who are taking on the challenge of building their own unique and inspirational homes.

George Clarke’s Old House New Home, Season 6

Britain has some of the most historic houses in the world; from Georgian Architecture to Victorian Art Deco, there are different architectural styles on every street. But the way houses were built years ago just doesn’t work for modern living. On Old House New Home, architect George Clarke gets under the skin of homes with history.

House Doctor, Season 1

In today’s housing market, there’s a marked contrast between the houses that sell in a heartbeat and those that languish on the market. On House Doctor, these contrasts are explored. Cluttered, dirty, dark and old fashioned homes struggle to get noticed while on the same street better presented examples are being snapped up in days.

Cue the energetic, stylish, fun-loving House Doctor, Tracy Metro. Her goal is to prove that with a minimum investment, simple home-styling can turn dodgy décor into unrecognisable, show-home material. In each episode, homeowners hire Tracy to help them set their home up for a successful sale. Once their home is properly staged, it’s only a matter of time before it clinches the deal while also maximizing the sale price.

World’s Most Secret Homes, Season 1

World’s Most Secret Homes explores some of the world’s most extreme and remote properties. From secluded houses in forests and luxury bunkers buried underground to cabins on remote islands and homes hidden in mountains.

Escape to the Country, Season 25

There comes a time in life when city-dwellers seek to just get away from the buzz of urban life. On Escape to the Country, homeowners get the chance to do just that!

In each episode, one couple or family sets out to find their perfect Escape to the Country. First they outline their must-haves for their prospective country home and then, guided by one real estate expert, visit four different properties that hopefully fit the bill. On their search, they also get the chance to explore the beautiful and unique surroundings and lifestyles of each location – nature reserves, captivating historical buildings, local wildlife and the best of what the countryside has to offer.

Grow, Cook, Eat, Season 1

Presented by Michael Kelly and Karen O’Donohoe, Grow Cook Eat explores the journey that our food takes before it reaches our tables. Each episode focuses on a particular vegetable and takes you through the entire process, from sowing the seed, to harvesting and cooking.

Design Twins, Season 1

On Design Twins, sisters Heidi and Heather team up on a new interior design business, Joyful Living. Their aim is to transform people’s homes with creative ideas, inventive solutions and beautiful design meant for families to actually live in. And they should know, given that in order to get their business off the ground, they and their husbands have moved both their families into Heather’s home.
