Spring-Sational Side Tables
Chalk Paint® in Antibes Green, Firle, and Giverny – these side tables are like a superfood smoothie for the eyes! So beautifully vibrant and energising, we can practically feel them fuelling our creativity. This delightful duo have been painted by Heidi of Dingley Dell Creative. Most of her work involves freehand designs, so please check out her page if one-of-a-kind folk inspired pattern and vivid colour is your bag. She’s definitely “one to watch”. Always use Clear Chalk Paint® Wax to protect your work.
Love in the mist!
This beautiful smoky purple chest of drawers was a plain pine nightmare. That is, until Chloe of Maisie’s House came along armed with her trusty Chalk Paint® tins in Old Violet, Emile, and Old White. The dreamy effect was achieved by vignetting from darker Chalk Paint® colours around the peripheries of the piece to a much softer Old White and Emile colour mix around the knobs. A delicate floral design at the centre of each drawer adds some folksy charm. Finally, a coat of Clear Chalk Paint® Wax to protect and keep this transformation looking fresh for years to come.
2020 has been a wildly unpredictable year but some certainties remain. Chalk Paint® continues to be a creative outlet for many. When the going gets tough, the tough get painting! Annie herself has been reaching for vivid green Firle, with it’s springtime verdancy and promise of new beginnings… it feels like a very positive colour to stave off some of the negativity we’re hearing in the wider world.
