Toothbrush Tablets
If you think there’s no such thing as candy-shaped toothpaste, think again.
Because Pelin Özbalcı’s revolutionary new one&done toothbrush does not only upend the classical toothbrush design but also everything we thought we knew about toothpaste.
The Turkish industrial designer came up with a phenomenally clever reinterpretation of the traditional toothbrush design.
Aimed at travellers and light packers, the one&done toothbrush consists of a toothbrush head with a clever storage compartment that can hold up to 20 toothpaste tablets.
Yep, we said toothpaste tablets.
That means no mess, no fuss – and less space taken up in your suitcase by essentials.
“I designed one&done as a toothbrush with a twist,” says Özbalcı about the design, which is inspired by a candy dispenser.
“The toothbrush securely holds up to 20 toothpaste tablets within its compact design, and also features replaceable brush parts for a more eco-friendly approach to oral care.”
The toothbrush also features a magnetic toothbrush cap to keep bristles germ-free and is available in three vibrant colours – coral, blueberry and lagoon.
The light and efficient design also won a ProCarton Young Designers Award.
What can we say? It definitely has us smiling.
