DADO Creations: South African Bathroomware Made Locally
This Heritage Month, DADO Creations celebrates a story that has been shaped, designed and made in South Africa. Founded in 1998 as a family-owned business, DADO Creations has grown from local beginnings into a South African bathroomware manufacturer whose products have found their place in homes, hotels and projects locally and abroad. At the heart of that journey remains a commitment to local design, craftsmanship and manufacturing.
Perhaps the clearest expression of this is DADOquartz®. Created from quartz ore and Southern African earth minerals, DADOquartz® is developed and manufactured locally, combining advanced technology with skilled hand-finishing.
The material is 100% solid throughout. Furthermore, it is non-porous, exceptionally strong and designed for excellent heat retention. With no topcoat required, its beauty is part of the material itself. From concept and mould development to production and finishing, DADOquartz® products are created in South Africa and backed by a lifetime warranty.
And because South African design should never take itself too seriously, there is even the DADOquartz® Braai Bath. This is a proudly local interpretation of two national favourites: a good braai and a long soak.
The DADO Creations manufacturing story also continues through DADOacrylic, its locally made range of sanitary-grade acrylic bathtubs. Designed to offer strength, durability and dependable quality, the collection brings South African manufacturing to a broader range of bathroom projects.
For DADO Creations, local design is about more than where something is made. It is about building knowledge, developing skills and creating products that can confidently carry South African bathroomware and design into bathrooms around the world.
This Heritage Month, DADO Creations celebrates what has been built here, by South Africans, since 1998.
