Duravit: Nuances of White in the Bathroom

Nuances of white make their mark in the bathroom this season.

Light colour shades create inviting bathrooms. The increasingly popular “Off White” shade – a mixture of white and gentle beige – gives rooms a modern, urban feel. Duravit uses shades of white in its new Duravit Viu/XViu and Happy D.2 Plus bathroom ranges to create expressive style collections. This subtle, understated look opens up scope for individual design and combination options.

The muted white can also be found in the new edition of the design classic Happy D. thanks to the new Nordic White Satin Matt furniture finish. With Happy D.2 Plus, sieger design has succeeded in producing a contemporary continuation of the archetypal oval. The result: expressive combination options in monochrome, harmonious tone-in-tone or contrasting.

The new Viu ceramics series and the XViu bathroom furniture range from sieger design point to the future of design. The post-industrial elegance of the pieces emerges from the interaction of soft, organic forms with a precise geometry.

Light and dark stylistic features as well as exciting contrasts can be created through the selection of appropriate colours. Contrasts arise through the combination of Black Matt profiles with light shades, while champagne-coloured profiles paired with white furniture surfaces lend the bathroom a gentle air.
