Lighting up people and places, Lights by Linea is proud to be associated with The Enamel Clinic.

A finalist in the Interior Design category at this year’s Loerie Awards, The Enamel Clinic in De Waterkant, Cape Town, is a first-of-its-kind aesthetic and constructive dental clinic and academy in Africa.

The serene commercial design was spearheaded by interior creative Kim Williams of Kim Williams Design and architectural designer Enrica van der Linden.

The pair came up with an innovative design that perfectly reflects the forward-thinking attitude of their clients, Dr Howard Gluckmand and Dr Mark Bowes with fresh, relaxing hues, handcrafted works of art and curvilinear design elements.

As Kim explains: “It’s a well thought through interior architectural and interior design experience that feels welcoming and non-threatening through the biophilic design that reconnects you to nature. From the curved white reception bench that greets you, to curves that resonate through the design and lead you through the space.”

In addition, “custom leafy wallpapers combined with LED and ambient lighting connect to the outside,” says Kim.

Sourced from Lights by Linea, the various LED strip lights and recessed downlights and statement pendant lights help to create a warm and inviting space that, as Kim says “is a place that is reflective of the result. A beautiful aesthetic experience that takes you on a journey from the moment you walk in the door. A place that draws you back. A place you share. A place that you want to post on your social media. A place that reflects the transformation that is about to become you.”
