A small project in Arniston, the enclosure of an existing stoep, the addition of a braai and bread oven, with a delightful result. The existing Arniston guest house is a thatched roof dwelling with timber framed doors and windows, plastered and painted walls and a few, hand-packed, stone walls. The design idea was to create a clear contrast between the existing material palette and the new palette in a manner that will complement the existing built fabric.
