Being involved in the early planning stages of this home in Noordhoek, Cape Town gave AMERICAN shutters an opportunity to consult with the architect,who in turn was able to carefully consider the shutter ranges, styles and finishes and best integrate the into the overall home design.

The home has gorgeous views of fynbos–rich mountainside, winelands and green paddocks, which the expansivewindows makethe most of. AMERICAN shutters’ Decowood and Security Shutters beautifully frame and accentuate these views and welcome in the streaming sunlight throughout the home.

Eco–friendly Decowood Shutters™were installed in the main en–suite bathroom and guestbedrooms as well as the high–level windows in the double volume areas which allows the light and the gorgeous mountain views to take centre stage.

In the main living area, bi–fold Security Shuttersfold away and open up the interior to the outdoordeck which overlooks the stunning views of the Noordhoek Valley. By–pass Security Shutters were installed on the outside of the weather–facing windows to protect these openings from the harsh Cape storms.Made from architectural grade aluminium, they are not onlywaterproof, they are also a strong effective security barrier, keeping this gorgeous home and its occupants safe.
